Let's just throw it out there . . . bottom line . . . I make people BEAUTIFUL!
I enjoy working with problematic and ethnic skin types (Fitzpatrick
Skin Types IV-VI). I love to make people feel good about the
way they look. When working with clients, I always listen to
their needs and then assess what will help them achieve the
look they are trying to achieve. I also enjoy teaching my clients
how to achieve my skin care and beauty techniques, so they can
recreate their own results at home.
My interest in skin care started when I was 12 years old. I
had a terrible case of grade three acne until my mother took
me to see a dermatologist. That proved to be a learning experience
I would never forget and caused me to develop proper skin care
techniques at an early age. My experience in the beauty industry
began when I started runway modeling at 14 years old. At age
16, I worked at a modeling school for two years, where I learned
the art of photography make-up from a world-renowned make-up
artist, Linda Sembera. I started college and continued to work
in fashion, print, runway modeling and make-up artistry until
the age of 23. I worked in sales, marketing and product development
positions with two surgical implant companies from 1993 to 2001.
This work experience took me sub-dermal (under the skin) and
I was able to learn about how the body heals from within. I
continued to take college courses and received my degree in
In 2003, I started working for Genesis Biosystems, a biomedical
engineering and aesthetics company. Genesis Biosystems manufactures
the Derma Genesis brand of Medical Microdermabrasion Systems,
Chromolite Intense Pulsed Light Systems, Regen Light Pulsed-Dye
Laser, LipiVage Fat transfer device and other medical supplies
for aestheticians and physicians. I worked as their clinical
training and marketing director until 2006. I enjoyed working
with the engineers and developing new products for market and
training aestheticians and physicians how to utilize the company’s
products in their practices. While working at Genesis Biosystems, I attended aesthetics school for skin care, waxing/hair removal, makeup artistry, eyelashes, and beauty services in 2004 and received my License to Practice Aesthetics in Texas in 2005 as a Licenced Esthetician (LE) and Makeup Artist (MUA). I also received a Certificate in Microdermabrasion, Certification as a Sr. Laser Technician (CLT), and Certification. In 2012, I received my certification as a Tattoo Artist (Micropigmentation Specialist) / Permanent Makeup Artist (CMS). In 2015 I received my Esthetic License to practice in the State of Florida., In 2016, I received my Tattoo Removal Certification from Tattoo Vanish. My licenses and certifications have taken me on a journey that has led me to manage, perform and excel at the many beauty procedures I perform today.
