Airbrush and mineral make-up have been the secret to Hollywood glamour for the last 10 years. Now, you can achieve the same looks as covergirls with airbrush foundation and mineral make-up. Airbrush foundation and mineral make-up is non-comedogenic, lasts all day and does not have a "fake or cakey" finish. It camouflages all of your skin's imperfections and gives a youthful glow to your complexion. IMPORTANT: Kathryn gets booked for group and special events as much as 1-6 months in advance on the weekends. Please give yourself enough time to set up a consultation with her and your hair stylist prior to your event. Consultations/trial runs are strongly encouraged. Final bookings will be scheduled at our consultation and 1/2 of the cost must be paid in advance to guarantee your time and date slot, if you decide to book me at your event offsite.

Weddings and modeling events usually fall on Friday, Saturday, or Sundays. Therefore, all consultations are booked during the week as are most other sessions. There is a $250 minumum to book with me for offsite events outside of the Southlake studio. A 20% gratuity is automatically added (the gratuity covers Kathryn's travel expenses to and from your offsite location). Kathryn requires confirmation of your appointment at least 14 days prior to your event to confirm details, when booking more than two weeks prior to your event. If your appointment is not confirmed, she cannot guarantee its availability and therefore, will consider it as cancelled. Kathryn looks forward to working with you in making your event successful. Peace of Mind Guarantee: Please note when you book make-up artistry with Kathryn, she is an independent make-up artist. She will make every effort possible to be your make-up artist on the day of your event. However, unexpected situations (i.e., illness, family emergency, etc.) could occur that would not permit her availability on the day of your event. She understands and appreciates that weddings, special events, and photo shoots are very dear to her clients, therefore, she works with and has several great "back-up" make-up artists locally, who will accomodate your make-up artistry if need be. If a back-up make-up artist is ever needed, she will first notify you in advance of your event and then with your approval, arrange a back-up make-up artist for you in her absence.

PERMANENT MAKEUP

Kathryn Dean offers the most natural-looking permanent makeup techniques for eyebrows, eyeliner, lips, lip liner, areola and hair replacement, so you’ll still look like you.

Kathryn received her certificate as a Micro-pigmentation Specialist in 2012 from Precision Plus Permanent Makeup and her skincare and makeover studio is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. She strictly follows the Texas Rules and Regulations for Sterilization and Sanitation of her facility, equipment and supplies. She uses the finest, state-of-the-art Nouveau_Contour brand of permanent makeup equipment for all of her permanent makeup and micro-pigmentation procedures.

PERMANENT MAKEUP/
MICROPIGMENTATION SERVICES

The fee structure below is for two procedure appointments to be completed within 60 days. The first appointment includes your initial consultation and permanent makeup procedure and a second "peace of mind" appointment for any procedure touch-ups or additional deepening of color needed. There will be no additional procedure fees for your second appointment "retouch appointment", as long as, the second appointment is completed within 60 days of the original appointment date.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR PERMANENT MAKEUP APPOINTMENT

Whenever you arrive at your first permanent makeup appointment, you will be given a questionnaire about your current medical history and proper consent forms to fill out. Next, Kathryn will give you an assessment of your procedure, where you both will pick out your color choices and an initial design consultation will be performed with your feedback and final approval prior to any permanent makeup application. Please Note: If you wish to have a patch test for an allergic reaction to the mineral color pigments used for the procedure, you will need to schedule a patch test 24 hours prior to your procedure, or you may opt to fore go the 24 hour patch test with your signature stating that you decline the allergy patch test and accept all responsibility as a result.

Please dress comfortable on the day of your procedure. If you are having an eyeliner procedure performed, you may want to schedule a driver to drive you to and from the procedure, in case of any visual swelling from the numbing products used during the procedure that might impair you from driving home safely. You will also be given the proper cleaning and after care instructions for your new permanent makeup prior to leaving your appointment. Kathryn wants you to have peace of mind when choosing her as your permanent makeup artist, so you will also have the opportunity to book a second appointment at no charge to be performed within 60 days of your procedure for any touch-ups or deepening of color pigments, as you wish.
